I love the I5 drive between LA and SF. I have done some of my best soul searching while driving that route.
I find the Fall to be the best time on that stretch of highway. Going south , if you reach the grapevine at sunset the images transend words.
I agree that drive is great. Watch out for those cops, 'tho! They love to sneak up on ya!
